Position description:

Estill County EMS is currently accepting applications for the position of full-time paramedic. This position will be on a 24/48 hour rotation.

Position requirements:

All applicants must pass a criminal and drivers background check, maintain a current KY paramedic certification, CPR, ACLS and must certify in a trauma class within one year of hire.

Estill County EMS provides 100% employee Health, Dental, vision and life insurance. We participate in Hazardous Duty Retirement and offer Educational and uniform allowance each year. We provide 24 hours sick leave/month and 10 hours Vacation leave/month.

Estill County EMS responds to over 3300 calls per year and operates 2 / 24 ALS units a day with a 12 hour ALS impact unit a day.
