Position description:

Full Time Position (40 hours a week).   Administers life support care to sick and injured persons according to the rules and regulations established by the Kentucky State Board of licensure, the Medical Director, and Methodist Hospital.  Assesses nature and extent of illness/injury to establish and prioritize medical procedures and interventions. 

Position requirements:

Licensed Kentucky Paramedic.  Certified in CPR, ACLS, BTLS, PALS, Hazmat Awareness Level, and Defensive Driving. Minimum 2 years experience as a shift EMT or six months Paramedic experience preferred.   Exceptional interpersonal communication skills required.Must be able to communicate effectively with departmental staff, other healthcare and response teams, hospital departments, Administration and regulating agencies
