Hammonds announces he is leaving KBEMS

VERSAILLES — Bob Hammonds, the executive director of the Kentucky Board of Emergency Medical Services, announced Tuesday evening on Facebook that he was leaving KBEMS and KCTCS.

Hammonds made this announcement:

"To all my FaceBook friends, it was announced today that I am leaving KCTCS and KBEMS. Sadly, it is true. I have been on medical leave for a while and have realized it is time to slow down, smell some roses and enjoy life! I hope I have had a positive impact on both KCTCS and KBEMS. I feel good about it. Take care, be prepared and BE SAFE!!!!!!"
