Funeral arrangements for Jesse Beasley

MOULTRIE, Georgia — The funeral for Air Methods pilot Jesse Beasley will be held Saturday in Georgia.

Beasley passed away Tuesday during surgery.

Beasley started flying with the former LifeNet Air Medical program on January 2, 2003, initially assigned to the Whitesburg, Ky., base. He then flew for the Chavies/Hazard base from August 2004 until November 2008 under the new Air Methods Kentucky program name.

A veteran of the Marines and Army, he was a retired police officer for Richmond, Va., and flew multiple aircraft throughout the years. 

Visitation will be held Friday from 6 - 8 pm at the Cobb Funeral Chapel, 2441 GA Hwy 37 W in Moultrie, Georgia. The funeral will be held Saturday at 2 pm.

Beasley is survived by his wife of over 40 years, Connie, and their daughter Shawn.
