LOUISVILLE — A memorial service is planned for June 14, marking the 10-year anniversary of the tragic University of Kentucky Aeromedical helicopter crash.

Killed in the crash were Flight Paramedic Brian Harden, Flight Nurse Sheila Zellers, Pilot Don Greene, and Pilot Ernie Jones. The helicopter was returning to Lexington from Jackson at the end of their shift.

Those attending are asked to meet at the Jackson Airport at 3:00 PM EDT, when they will then travel to the crash site, lay a wreath, and have a brief memorial and reflection. Following the ceremony, there will be a gathering at the Pizza Hut in Jackson for dinner.

The EMS Community is welcome to attend.
