In memory of Britney Joe Prewitt

Our warmest and heart felt appreciation goes out to everyone that has touched our lives within these past weeks during the loss of our daughter, Britney. The overwhelming support, the visits, the cards, the flowers, the charitable gifts to the Children’s Hospital Foundation Asthma, for the food that was brought to our family, for the hugs, the visits and phone calls by friends, students, co-workers, colleagues and acquaintances, for the understanding, for the volunteering, for all the prayers and thoughts and for all the love that has been shared with our family as you have nourished us with the strength to step through each day of this unexpected time of grievance. 

As parents, as a sister, as grandparents, as an aunt, uncle, or cousin we knew that our beautiful Britney was a very caring, fun loving and special girl.  Never in our wildest imaginations could we have ever envisioned the hearts and lives that she touched everyday with her gracious presence and huge smile.  She was a charm that God gave to us for a short while to enjoy. while she lives on in our hearts forever, her presence will be missed.  We will continue our journey and because of her life and her death we will forever cherish moments with friends, colleagues and family like you.
