KBEMS negotiating settlement with Kyle Thompson

VERSAILLES — The Kentucky Board of EMS has authorized board chairman Rob Rothenburger to negotiate a settlement with former board attorney Kyle Thompson.

"Nothing has been signed yet," said Lewis Prewitt, the Kentucky Community and Technical College System Director of Human Resources. However, Prewitt confirmed that Thompson is seeking a settlement with KBEMS.

Both Thompson and KBEMS executive director Brian Bishop were reportedly suspended with pay on Apr. 27. Bishop had already announced his resignation on Apr. 12, giving two months notice.
