First Responder charged with assaulting police officer

PAINTSVILLE — A Paintsville EMS employee was arrested Saturday after an altercation with another first responder.

Mike Faulkner was arrested for third-degree assault on a police officer after an incident with Johnson County Sheriff’s deputy Matthew Ferguson on the Veterans Memorial Bridge on Broadway while both men were in uniform.
