KAPA workshop on the new national fee schedule

GLASGOW — The Kentucky Ambulance Providers Association, in conjunction with AdminaStar-Federal, will be hosting a workshop on the new National Ambulance Fee Schedule on Friday March 1st at the Tri-State EMS Conference in Erlanger, KY.

The Workshop will be held at the Holiday Inn Airport located at 1717 Airport Exchange Blvd in Erlanger, KY from 9:00 AM to Noon (EST). Directions to the Holiday Inn are: Take I-275 W from I-75 to exit #2 Mineola Pike and turn right. The Holiday Inn will be on the left.

Lindy Lady, AdminaStar-Federal's Kentucky Part-B Provider Relations representative along with her Indiana counter-part, will be conducting the workshop. In addition to updates from AdminaStar on the expected April 1, 2002 implementation of the new National Fee Schedule, updates of AdminaStar's Ambulance Providers Manual will be distributed along with a discussion of HIPPA compliance.

Ambulance Service Directors along with their billing staffs and EMS billing service representatives are encouraged to attend this very informative and timely program. Attendees are also invited to attend the KAPA Board of Director's Meeting that will be held at 1:00 PM (EST) at the Holiday Inn and to attend other educational programs being offered at the Tri-State EMS Conference.
