A funeral mass will be held at the Holy Family Church, 900 Winchester Ave., Ashland at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 22, followed with a processional from the Marshall Steen Funeral Home to the Rose Hill Burial Park (about 2 blocks) with a full military service in the Chapel and the EMS Color Guard, the "Last Call" and the playing of "Amazing Grace" by a local bagpiper.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Mary Elizabeth Haynes Education Fund, C/O the Kentucky Farmers Bank, Summitt Branch, 6123 U.S. RT 60, Ashland, KY 41102.  This fund will benefit Charlie's daughter, who has one more semester of college to complete for her Bachelor's degree and then two more years of graduate school.
