The following EMS-related items were published in the October edition of the Kentucky Cabinet for Health Services Office of Certificate of Need Newsletter.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

  • Thursday, November 15, 2001 at 9:00 a.m. in the Auditorium, Health Services Building, 275 East Main Street, Frankfort, Kentucky. Salyersville Ambulance Service, C/N #077-11-3579(2), (Salyersville, Magoffin County). Establish a Class I (ALS/BLS) ground ambulance service to serve the City of Salyersville and a five (5) mile radius utilizing two (2) vehicles. $130,000.00 

FORMAL REVIEW - DISAPPROVAL

  • C/N #034-15-3729(1) YELLOW AMBULANCE SERVICE, Lexington, Fayette County. Establish a Class I ALS/BLS ground ambulance service to serve Fayette County utilizing six (6) vehicles. $995,000.00. Disapproval (9/24/01) Criteria 2 and 4.
