Medicare Part A provider relations workshop scheduled for March 1

BENTON — There will be an Ambulance Medicare Part A provider relations workshop on March 1 from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon EST at the Holiday Inn Hurstbourne in Louisville. 

Recently, the Kentucky Ambulance Providers Association sub-committee on Medicare Part A held a provider meeting in Muhlenburg County to discuss the problems and issues which are very similar to those which have been experienced by the Part B ambulance providers. 

KAPA has submitted the list of issues to AdminaStar and we expect them to be addressed at the upcoming workshop. 

There are approximately 10 Hospital based ambulance services which currently file Medicare Part A claims in Kentucky.
