KAPA elects new president

OWENSBORO Mike Swift defeated incumbent Bob Gainer in today's election for president of the Kentucky Ambulance Providers Association.

Swift is the EMS Director for Barren-Metcalf County EMS.

Incumbents won the remaining positions on KAPA's executive board. Joe Bradshaw (EMS Director of Knox County EMS) was re-elected vice president. Mark Harrison (EMS Director of Marshall County EMS) was re-elected secretary. Billy Miller (EMS Director of Somerset-Pulaski County EMS) was re-elected treasurer.

The elections were held during KAPA's annual meeting at the Kentucky EMS Conference and Expo in Owensboro.

Swift will assume the new position on Jan. 1.
