An open invitation for STATCARE's 2000 EMS Appreciation Cruise By
KAREN LUCAS LOUISVILLE — Those involved in pre-hospital emergency medical services in Kentucky and Indiana are cordially invited to join us May 17 for STATCARE's 2000 EMS Appreciation Cruise on the Belle of Louisville. All too often your hard work goes unnoticed, but not by us. Help us celebrate National EMS Week while we extend our recognition and appreciation for your dedication to excellence in pre-hospital care. The cruise is sponsored by Louisville Medical Center STATCARE and it's sponsoring hospitals: Jewish Hospital HealthCare Services, Norton Healthcare, and University of Louisville Health Care. Boarding for the cruise will begin at 8:00 p.m. EDT on May 17 at the Belle of Louisville, located at Fourth Street and River Road in Louisville. The cruise begins at 8:30 p.m. and lasts until 11:30. This is an adult-oriented cruise, so please don't bring children. Food, music, and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided. There will also be a cash bar. The cruise is limited to 800 people, so boarding is on a first-come / first-served basis (but in the past, no one has ever been turned away). We need your help to "pack the boat."
