Funeral arrangements for Betty F. Burton

LOUISVILLE — Betty F. Burton, 70, died Friday at Caritas Medical Center.

She was the former Betty Lee, a retired office manager for the old Ben Snyder's Department Store and a member of South Jefferson Christian Church.

Survivors: sons Ernest, Randell II and Steve Burton (chief of the South Dixie Fire Department and former president of the Kentucky EMT Instructors Association); a daughter, Karen Robison; her mother, Sarah Burden; brothers Sellie G. Jr., Robert S. and Ernest G. Lee; a sister, Barbara Gartner; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral: 10 a.m. Tuesday, her church, 6500 Orell Road. Burial: Bethany Memorial. Visitation: W.G. Hardy Valley, 10907 Dixie Highway, 3-9 p.m. Sunday and 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. Monday.

Memorial gifts: Crusade for Children, c/o South Dixie Fire Department.
