Camp Milbrook Today - 2001

The manure cart.
All the old camp vehicles are gone, but the manure cart is still standing. It must have been remarkedly well-preserved.

The chicken coop.
The chicken coop has fallen, but some parts of it are still visible in the overgrowth. This is probably the area I disliked the most at camp, and I can still remember trying to remove chickens from their cube so I could retrieve their eggs (and being attacked by wild irate chickens when I stole their eggs....)

The hay rake.
This probably has an official "agricultural implement" name, but I recall it as the hay rake. Riding it was pretty bumpy but loads of fun (although the first few times I probably didn't have the weight necessary to work it properly.)

The horse barn.
The horse barn too has collapsed. Tim said a few years ago the Jeep was pulled out with a wrecker and sold to a Bridgton man who restored them. Tim said after changing the gas and installing a new battery, the Jeep started right up. None of the rails that surrounded the riding ring remain, but time had worn an indentation in the ground and you can still see where the riding ring was (and that rock that was at the north end of the ring still protrudes).

The path from the waterfront Jeep road back to the cabins.
No longer passable back to the cabins, but it's intersection with the Jeep road is still distinct. A quick inventory of the rocks showed all were still present.
