always make the comment that one day, one day he would be flying with them. Well my

he vowed to protect but the ones that served with and loved him so. For Brian and the

to airlift him to UK, but they brought the neonatal ambulance instead. We really never got
to thank even those individuals who came and got him. My son was in neonatal care for
about 10 days. I understand that the nurse was a neonatal nurse. I know it's too late now,
but I sure do appreciate all the efforts that everyone made on his behalf. It takes a
strong individual to work with infants that are sick. Our thoughts are with you all and

hopefully help each of you find peace. MAY THEY REST IN PEACE. The window to my office faces the UK Heliport and my home is near the VOR beacon.
Nearly every day for 10 years I have heard the familiar, reassuring beat of the S-76
rotors. The distinctive sound never fails to rouse me because I know that the
professionals on board are reaching out to someone in need. Like all of the others who have posted here, my heart goes out to the families,
friends, and fellow crew members of UK-2. I will miss my friend Shiela very much; she was
such a gentle, kind, and caring person. She always brightened the room with her smile when
she walked in, and was one of the most compassionate people I have ever known. I miss you
very much, "She-rah, Queen of the Skies". May God bless you in this time of sorrow and loss. Please accept my deepest sympathies

knowledge and peace of mind to help the person in need. In this time tragedy and darkness there is always hope. With the passing of the crew of
43E we do now more than ever recognize that we in the public safety field do take risks.
However we take those risks without a thought when the call comes for someone in need of
our help. God bless all the family members, co-workers, and friends of the lost and know
that they are in a better place and are now watching over us with everything we do to make
certain that nothing harmful happens to us. I FEEL FOR THE FAMILY'S OF ALL THE CREW ON ECHO 43,I WORK AS A VOLUNTEER FIRE/RESCUE

when I heard that the aircraft went down. We go about this business of saving the lives of
our fellow man with the knowledge of it's inherent dangers, yet none of us wants to
believe that it could happen so close to home. My thoughts are with you. The Fort Thomas Firefighters would like to extend condolences to the families and

emergency servies (EMS, Fire, Rescue and Law enforcement) there are in the Commonwealth of
Kentucky, the United States of American and around the world. Let us not forget these ones
who gave all in the hope of saving lives. Our prayers and thoughts are with the families
of these brave and unselfish ones. What they have represented to each of us let us carry
on as they would have. For if there is one idea I can make out of this tragic and untimely
accident it would be for each of us to dedicate our life more to help make EMS better.
They would truly want life to go on and continue for the responder and the patient. My

right thing in the face of fear." To me that means that despite the risks the crew of

That is courage in the face of advercity. I send my condolences to the families and
friends of our fallen comrads To the family,s of UK2 i send my deepest regreats. Confusion is always linked with such tragedies. We do not understand in our limited
knowledge why such good, devoted, people have to perish from our lives so quickly. God in
his infinite wisdom has a plan much more integral than our knowledge. Please, seek his
comfort during this trial and rest assured your loved ones were and are just a minor part
in his grand plans. May God bless and keep each of you. DO NOT STAND BY MY GRAVE AND WEEP May God and his Angels comfort each and every one of you in this time of sorrow.
