Brian Jennemann Memorial Scholarship Fund

The Brian Jennemann Memorial Scholarship Fund was established by his family and friends to honor his life and commitment to helping others. On July 20, 2001, Brian passed away after a brief battle with meningococcal meningitis. Brian was a dedicated Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) with the Jefferson County Emergency Medical Services. He previously was employed by the Yellow Ambulance Company for five years.

Brian was known for his love and commitment to the profession, was always on time and never complained.

The Brian Jennemann Memorial Scholarship Fund will annually award four grants of up to $1,500 each to deserving residents of Kentucky and Tennessee who demonstrate their desire, interest and commitment to being a paramedic. Candidates must be 18 years or older and accepted into a certified paramedic training program. Selections are based on the candidate’s passion, commitment and interest in paramedic training and serving the public. Grants will be disbursed directly to the educational institution, fire department, city, county or other organization that is offering a licensed, certified paramedic training program.

To be considered, a completed application form, plus all required documents and attachments, must be received or postmarked by no later than July 15, 2008. The required application form may be printed directly from the Foundation’s website at www.cflouisville.org. To receive an application form by mail, or for more details, contact Gail Sanders at (502) 585-4649 or gails@cflouisville.org
