Over 350 people attended the 2003 Kentucky EMS Awards Banquet.

The Kentucky EMS Awards Banquet is held at the conclusion of our main conference. This year the banquet will be held on Friday, Sept. 26, 2008. Our guest speaker will be announced.

Each year a few of your peers are selected to be honored at the awards banquet. To make these awards meaningful, we need your help in identifying those members of the EMS community who have either performed above and beyond what is expected of those in emergency medical services, or who have made a significant contribution to EMS that deserves recognition. EMS service providers and EMS educators are also eligible. Other EMS associations typically present their awards at the awards banquet, too.

In 2003, actor Randolph Mantooth (who starred in the 1970's television series Emergency! as Firefighter / Paramedic John Gage) was our guest speaker at our banquet. He also helped present the state EMS awards.

Tickets to the awards banquet cost $35 each and are not included in the daily conference registration. You do not have to attend the conference to purchase an awards banquet ticket. Spouses, family, and friends are also invited.

The doors open at 5:30 pm for seating. Awards ceremonies begin at 6:00, and dinner is served at 6:30.
