'First
Responder Day' Set for February 9

's First Responders work each and every day to better our communities and
ensure a higher level of public safety throughout the commonwealth.
Because of this, Governor Ernie Fletcher
and members of the State Legislature are hosting a ceremony to honor our
state's First Responders on February 9, 2006 at 2:15 p.m. in the State
Capitol Rotunda.
You and your colleagues are invited to
attend this important event as the Governor will sign a proclamation
declaring February 9, 2006 as "First Responder Day" in the
Commonwealth
of
Kentucky
. Several legislative initiatives affecting
Kentucky
's First Responders will also be highlighted during the event.
