     The American Ambulance Association has selected the Kentucky Ambulance Providers Association as the recipient of its 2008 Annual Partnership Award. (9.8.08)
First Responder EMPLOYERS: New NIOSH Guidance for Exposure Control Plans
     First responders face unique scenarios due to uncontrolled settings and the possible presence of large volumes of blood at the scene. Exposure risk is heightened in chaotic work situations with uncooperative patients or suspects. (KHA 8.24.08)
One-day free state EMS conference will be held in Bowling Green on Oct. 16
